Than Hsiang Vegetarian Food Service is under the aegis of the Than Hsiang Welfare Association. It started in 1992 with a canteen catering to a small, but regular, clientele. In 1999, a Restaurant was added after some renovation work and this proved to be hugely popular.
Now Than Hsiang Vegetarian Food Service is an array of vegetarian food services and includes catering services, organic and chemical free food and products, and in-house food service besides the canteen and Restaurant.
The primary aim of Than Hsiang Vegetarian Food Service is to encourage vegetarianism, as vegetarianism is an aid in cultivating compassion for all living beings. In promoting this aim, we strive to provide a wide variety of healthy and delicious vegetarian food to the public, especially the working people of the Free Trade Zone and the residents in the surrounding areas.
Our vegetarian food is prepared by expert vegetarian chefs in a hygienic kitchen using recipes for a healthy lifestyle according to the Ministry of Health requirements. We use less oil and provide brown rice as an option.
Organic food is, in general, food produced without the use of artificial pesticides and/or herbicides. Our fresh vegetables are sourced daily from organic farms in Balik Pulau, Cameron Highlands and Genting Highlands.

Set lunch from 12.00 noon to 2.00pm on Mondays to Fridays – Set consists of unpolished rice, various types of delicious organic vegetable dishes, hot soup, steamed sweet potatoes, and fresh fruits.

Sale of fresh organic vegetables and organic health food and products on Mondays to Saturdays from 9.00am to 6.00pm.
