About Us

Mama’s Nyonya cuisine opened its door to customers since 10 years of business; they have attracted a lot of customers due to their traditional way of offerings on preparing the cuisine. The exterior of the restaurant is embellished with features distinctively similar to an old fashion residential shop house at the fame of Abu Siti Lane. They serve authentic favorite food, the kind that our fore-parents used to cook. All menu items are the family’s recipes and some of the dishes have a century of history. Ruby Yeoh heads the kitchen with expertise and whips out her Mama’s secret recipe fare not easily found in the city. Some dishes though simple but are home style flavored. Run by three sisters – Ruby, Maureen and Vivian.

Considering how much work goes into creating each dish, that is a bold step, and one that has stood them in good stead, as the clients like international shoe maker Datuk Jimmy Choo, Hong Kong Director Ang Lee, and Wang Lee Hom, Hong Kong actor/singer, Singapore TV actor Phua Chu Kang, Taste of Food Travel, Andrew Zeinan, Rick Stein the chef who once cooked for Queen Elizabeth II. Besides, they have appeared in TV many times with Hong Kong, China, British and America Celebrities.


The secret of the popularity of the cuisine very much home-cooked Nyonya favorites, from all the old favorites can be found at Mama’s Nyonya Cuisine: from Tau Eu Bak to Purut Ikan, and Nyonya Fish Head Curry and Sambal Goreng to Ayam Ros. But don’t take our word for it. Come and experience for yourself first hand the dishes that will have you coming back for more.
