About Us

Born in a family of Nyonya inTaiping, Perak in 1952. Educated at Taiping King Edward School till Sixth Grade.

Started his career as Trainee Cook & Odd Job worker in several Restaurant in Europe for several years, before venturing back to Malaysia to work for several High End Restaurant, before joining an International Hotel based in Hong Kong. His work scope involves setting up of Main Kitchen, Training Of Employees & Menu Planning.

He has also frequently hosted T.V. and Radio Cooking Programmes and popular with the Press & Magazines.

After working for 15 years in the Hotel Industries, he join several Multinational Company as Bakery Manager, Marketing Manager, R&D Manager before venturing into the Food & Beverage Consultant Business.

To-Date he has created many Recipes for the Food Industries, especially the ever popular Chinese Recipe BUTTER PRAWNS and the famous POTATO BREAD.

To date, he has won numerous awards and medals. Includes a Grand Award in Europe.

Latest Business Venture, started an Old Fashion Nyonya Restaurant in PJ called “TAIPING HO CHIAK”
